Guides will take you on either the Crosstown or Summit Trail, departing from our store at 88220 E Government Camp Rd.

Booking a Snowshoe Tour

The Mt. Hood National Forest provides us with many wonderful trails, some of which are right out our front door! Witness beauty of this temperate rain-forest on a story filled Daytime Snowshoe Tour. Snowshoeing is a great form of entertainment and is a popular winter activity for all ages and ability levels. On our guided 3 Mile Snowshoe Tour you will discover the rich history of the area, learn winter survival strategies, see native birds, find animal tracks and if you’re lucky you might even get a view of the magnificent Mt. Hood!

Snowshoe Tours start at $75 per person and decreases in price as you add people!

Minimum 2 people, max capacity 11 people & 24 hour advanced notice required.

Please arrive 10 Minutes prior to tour time at the Mt. Hood Outfitters Store at 88220 E Government Camp Loop to check-in and prepare for your winter wonderland adventure! Sno-Park passes are available to purchase at Mt. Hood Outfitters $7/Daily & $30/Seasonal. Sno-Park Permits are required on Government Camp Loop & at all plowed Sno-park Areas.

 

Please ensure every participant in your booking has completed their Liability Waivers located at the bottom of your invoice. Looking forward to having you here!

We are in a Snow-Zone and you must carry chains or have studded winter tires.

Consider your travel time: Mountain passes see the highest number of vehicles during the winter break and on weekends.

Snow pants and jacket, waterproof mid-layers, socks and hat, waterproof gloves and boots, neck warmer or face mask, hand sanitizer, water, snacks. Optional hand & toe warmers, change of clothes.
