Tour Mount Hood from the Air

Enjoy a change of perspective with one of our Mount Hood aerial tours by plane or helicopter. Mount Hood is a spectacular mountain and our flights will give you a tour of the mountain you will never forget with the summit of Mount Hood at eye level. This is the next best thing to hiking all the way to the top yourself and doesn’t take near the effort.

Airplane Tours

We work closely with Classic Wings of Hood River, Oregon to give you the best airplane tours of Mount Hood. Classic Wings' pilots give you a tour that begins with a view of Hood River where you fly southbound through the valley toward Mount Hood. After flying through the valley over the Hood River and Mount Hood’s dried lava flow, your pilot takes you around the magnificent Mount Hood giving you great views of the glaciers and snowfields that cover its surface. You might even catch a glimpse of skiers on one of the many Mount Hood ski resorts or a climber at the peak of the mountain. You will complete your air tour with a descent into the Columbia River Gorge over the Cascade Mountains, which provides a captivating view of the river.

Helicopter Tours

Hop on a helicopter and let an experienced pilot give you the full tour. Have a tour designed to see what interests you enjoy the most; the pilot is at your command so quench your thirst of curiosity while your in the air. With Mount Hood, Mt St Helens, the Columbia River Gorge and endless wine country just within your grasp it can be hard to decide where to have your helicopter pilot take you.
