Whitewater Rafting Tours

 

WHITEWATER RAFTING IS ONE OF THE MOST EXHILARATING EXPERIENCES YOU CAN BOOK THROUGH MT. HOOD ADVENTURE! 

To Book a Trip: Select from the three rivers listed below. Give us a call at 503-715-2175 or email info@mthoodoutfitters.com with the river selected, number of people on your trip, and the duration of the trip (1/2 day morning or afternoon departure preference, a full day or an overnight excursion). 

There are three rivers to choose from. The Deschutes River in Maupin, the Clackamas River in Estacada, and White Salmon River in White Salmon WA, are all about an hour and 15 minutes away from Government Camp. All three are class III rivers and are equally fun and suitable for beginners. You will need to provide your own transportation to whichever river you choose, but any shuttling along the river is provided by the Raft Guide, and you will be dropped off a the end of the trip at your own vehicle.

The Clackamas is $60 for adults and $50 for children 12 and under for the half day (check-in at either 9:30 am or 1:30 pm and they are 3 1/2 hours long) and $89 for adults and $79 for children for the full day (6 1/2 hours long).

The Deschutes is $60 for adults and $50 for children 12 and under for the half day (check-in at either 9:30 am or 1:30 pm and they are 3 1/2 hours long) and $89 for adults and $79 for children for the full day (6 1/2 hours long). 

The White-Salmon is $70 for adults and $60 for children 12 and under for the half day (check-in is at either 9:30 am or 2:30 pm) and $130 for adults and $120 for for the full day (6 1/2 hours long). 

Lunch is provided on Full Day rafting Trips.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Reservations and Cancellation Policy
Cancellations 72-24 hours from your reservation will be refunded 50% of the balance originally charged. Cancellations made with less than 24 Hour notice will not be eligible for a refund. 

All participants must complete a Liability Release. Children under 18 years must have a Liability Release signed by Parent or Guardian. Minimum age for rafting is 6 on the Clackamas and 4 on the Deschutes54” chest size is the maximum for an adult's life vest.

Things to Know
Bring: swim suits or shorts, sunglasses with straps, sunscreen, tennis shoes with tight laces or sandals, sun hat or visor, plastic water bottle (no glass), change of clothes (for drive home), and a waterproof camera, face masks, and sanitizer.

Many of the river outfitters have shops at their office if you forget anything. Some outfitters will also have photos of your rafting experience in their shop at the end of the trip.
