Christmas Sleigh Rides, Santa, Cosmic Tubing, & more!

Join us on Mt. Hood in Government Camp for a Christmas Celebration!

Holiday festivities will soon be upon us. Join us for the Festivities at Mt. Hood Skibowl with a visit from Santa Clause & Frosty the Snowman. Santa Clause and Frosty the Snowman will be romping around Skibowl all day and into the evening handing out candy canes to snow riders and families. Watch for them on the slopes and at the Tube Hill. Tell them your wishes and pose for pictures.

Sleigh Rides will also be available! Join our friends Rick & Rock for a cozy sleigh ride through the winter wonderland of Government Camp. The Belgian draft horses, the jingle of their bells and the romantic sleigh all come together to take you on a relaxing journey through the village with views of Mt. Hood, Mt. Hood Skibowl and the surrounding Cascade mountains. Make sure to book your tour early with Mt. Hood Adventure by calling 503-715-2175. Sleigh and Carriage rides depart from our store location in the center of Government Camp and will be available:

Tree Lighting in Government Camp with the Sandy High Symphonic Choir. Santa will arrive in style. Visit Santa and enjoy the festivities. Cosmic Tubing will kick off at Mt. Hood Sibowl's Snow Tube & Adventure Park! Cosmic Tubing is here and out of this world! from 7pm to 10pm. Saturday Night Lights - It’s the start of the Holiday Season on the mountain! Join us as we light up the night sky with fireworks to kick off the season at Skibowl. Enjoy our Saturday Night Lights fireworks display, visible from the base area at Skibowl East.
