Historic Timberline Lodge Tours

Timberline Lodge sits 6,000 feet up on the south side of Mount Hood. Built completely by hand in 1936 from local stone, Timberline Lodge is a home for skiers, climbers and outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds. Timberline Lodge was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1977 and is a popular attraction among tourists visiting Oregon. Home of the longest ski season in North America, Timberline Lodge’s bottom floor can be completely buried in snow in the peak of winter, with visitors entering through a tunnel in the snow, or directly into the second floor.

Join us on one of our 45 minute Timberline Lodge tours with a U.S. Forest Service Ranger where you’ll learn of Timberline’s history and all that it has been through. These tours are available to everyone and are free, however, donations are always appreciated and accepted.
